Amper is hiring a driven Business Development Representative to help accelerate the adoption of our industrial monitoring products.

Traditional factory monitoring solutions are almost always a painful integration process and don't work with every machine type - installations are complex and take weeks or months. Amper is democratizing industrial technologies to help factory managers easily monitor manufacturing operations to increase efficiencies and eliminate waste. Our base of customers has been quickly growing organically with just word of mouth and we are rapidly scaling our marketing and sales. As a Business Development Representative at Amper, you will be on the front line driving product adoption and help build a sophisticated sales engine.

What you'll do:

  • Source and qualify opportunities in various manufacturing verticals
  • Directly speak to Plant Managers and General Managers in factories
  • Qualify inbound leads and identify new opportunities
  • Craft thoughtful and targeted messaging to further build the pipeline
  • Contribute ideas to help improve Amper's marketing and distribution strategy


  • Driven and excited about growing a sales career
  • High level of interest in the IoT space and the manufacturing industry
  • Diligence, curiosity and an appetite for getting things done quickly and effectively
  • Proven ability to craft engaging messaging to prospects, maintain poise on the phone and be an active listener
  • Excellent and clear communication skills


  • Ability to independently develop and execute sales campaign strategies
  • Organized and efficient approach towards day-to-day work
  • Previous experience as an inside sales representative
  • Experience with software tools, such as Salesforce and Google Suite
